I picked this up at a vintage shop in Bath, England. I had a lofty idea of tailoring this into my wedding dress. NYC tailor pricing squished my dreams. This is 100% pure silk. The embroidery was done by hand. The tulle under the skirt has a blue silk heart for your something blue. The sizing is strange because it’s UK and a wedding gown. I would say it is a street size 6-8 in the US. It was sold to me as a size 10-12 and fit my waist a bit big and my bust a bit small (a fairly typical problem). It is a lovely pearl white and comes with a silk hanger. I hope someone else sees the potential in this beautiful gown and maybe has better skills as a tailor than I. 🫶🏻
