Vintage Mid Century 1940’s/1950’s Wedding Dress Gown Brand: A Maurer Original Features: Piping detail at V waist Long sleeve Buttons with loop closure on sleeves Buttons back with loop closure Non stretch fabric Lined No size tag or fabric content tag I assume dry clean only Fabric is a combination of a silky feel with lace detailing on upper & lower Approximately a shade of cream Flaws: The lace is very delicate & in rough shape-has rips-most of the rips & damage are on the lace. Dress has spots, wrinkles, lining has spots, buttons are lace covered but the lace has worn off on some buttons, has fabric pulls but no extreme fabric pulls or holes on silky fabric, hem has wear, has hanging threads, inside lining has frayed areas-Some examples of flaws circled in photos-however not comprehensive of all flaws. I tried to capture the most visible. Could benefit from a dry cleaning when in its new home.
