This vintage Brooks Brothers USA union made Glencheck (Prince of Wales) suit is made up of black, white and a very fine red plaid wool. From a distance it appears smooth gray due to the fine lines in the plaid. There are no size labels but it fits like a 38R-40S. The jacket is single breasted, two button front, padded shoulders, single rear center vent, two exterior flap pockets, two internal pockets, half lined and two non-functional buttons on each sleeve. The trousers are double pleated front with no cuff and four pockets. All flaws are shown in the photos. The flaws include a tiny tear on the corner of one of the jacket front pockets, the lapel backing behind the neck is beginning to come apart but is not visible unless flipped up and a small hole beneath the zipper fly on the trousers. All pockets are intact with no holes. This suit has tons of life left in it with lots of great vintage details! This suit has been recently dry cleaned and comes from a smoke and pet free home.
