Vintage Evans desk lighter

This fine example of a brass Evans lighter is set apart by the base. No guessing is needed to know what that smooth, cold, heavy stone is when it's labeled on the bottom. This piece comes from the Grayburg Formation in northwest Texas from a depth of 4,000 feet! Maybe 230,000,000 years was a long time to wait for a light, but it's here now ready for a freshly unwrapped cigar in a room smelling of mahogany, scotch, and leather. I know little about minerals and gemstones, but a little reading makes me think the stone is dolomite. It wants outta here in 24 hours and 23 of 'em are already gone. You understand? If you get the reference, get this lighter.
