There are multiple pockets: under the front flap is a full length pocket. Inside the main compartment is a zippered pocket and then pockets for cell phone, credit cards and pens. The front flap has a zippered pocket on its inside. The backside has a zippered pocket (fits an iPad mini inside easily with room to spare). There is also a key fob attachment inside.
