Vintage beaded bib collar with pearls and rhinestones by Baar and Beards

I couldn't resist putting this out at a recent neighborhood garage sale and it sold to a guy whose girlfriend is a vintage collector. Glad it found a good home! Beautiful beadwork with faux pearls and rhinestone settings in this bib collar necklace by Baar and Beards of Japan, a company established in New York City, New York in 1941. Hook closure. Satin backing shows its age with yellowing but is intact. Label indicates it’s a handmade Top-hit Fashion. Measures 12-1/4 inches in length with a 13-1/2 inch circumference.
