These are 100% cotton, and beautifully sewn. There are 8 placemats in all, in excellent condition. These are from my grandmother's house. They are almost perfect. The stitching design that edges the placemats, is both on the fabric, and separate from it, as is typical with cutwork. They are from the 1920s. Makes a very pretty table setting. Measure about 11 x 17"
