Its more of a figure of speech but if you look at the Vogue website and look at runway shows through the years, similar charm style statement necklaces on chains like this with similar designs have been used as layers in several collections. its a very regal, polished, high-end look. Most recently 2018 is one year that comes to mind that featured necklaces like this

@curatedantiques yw! I've read Vogue, Harpers Bizarre, Vanity Fair since a kid thanks to my mom! most vintage pieces r from her. I'm slowly starting to let some go. Her collection was massive! She had amazing style & taught me early the importance of accessorizing & looking to runway collections for style inspiration
if u show this to your friends they will probably think of a few shows from Dolce & Gabbana, CHANEL, Versace etc that have styled their runway looks w/ similar necklaces! :)
