Vintage strand of cowbells, rustic windchime, primitive bells, primitive decor

This set of vintage, possibly antique, cowbells on a cord are pre-1970, but likely much older. They would make a nice primitive style windchime. I suspect they are much, much older than 1970, but I can only date them to them based on my uncle's home decor and old photos. Measures approximately 36" when laid out.
