Loving ways we are shown that we are never alone. Children, nature and messages are so assuring and I look for them always. In this era of upheaval, it’s easy to be affected by sadness. I wanted to share that underneath it all, we are loved and meant to go forward with hope and expectations of growing more loving with each beautiful soul that arrives❤️
The baby is grandchild #12, who was 7 weeks old then, June ‘22…see him again at 16 months old in the last photo with his cousins in Oct ‘23) He is the firstborn of our only son (an update is that he has a brother due date 4-12 which is His 2nd birthday!)
The butterfly that landed on him was hatched and released the day before! His older cousins had a kit from Easter and had released them. We came for a graduation party in their backyard and within minutes this happened. The butterfly stayed and landed and was photographed on another five of us for the next 10 minutes!❤️

The butterfly is the unofficial symbol of the Alcoholics Anonymous family (AA, Al-Anon, Alateen, ACOA, etc.) Each time I see one live, I feel as if my mother, who had over 40+ years of sobriety in AA when she passed, is sending me her love. @marveylust Then 2 years later, my next sister at 55, after that, my brother who was 59. He was 8 years older than I am. I have always associated butterflies visiting me with each of them. I ALWAYS have butterflies around me and landing on me in the springtime and summer. I love it! Thank you for sharing 💕

@marveylust I will ask for prayers for my dad, who is 88 and getting a pacemaker put in Monday. Last hope. His heart is working at 30% and he’s in defib. He didn’t qualify for The Watchman procedure. We have lost 6 of our aunts and uncles in the past 3 months which has hit dad really hard. He wants to be here for mom, though and is a fighter. I have one brother left and he has one sister left. Thank you!

To loose siblings like you did, and your parents losing 2 of 4 children had to be immensely difficult for your immediate family😢I’ll bet you all were just recovering when the last group of aunts and uncles went so close together.

The pain you are all bearing has been relentless and so stressful. With the upcoming surgery for your dad, whose pain is most surely affecting his strength, this is such a challenge for you. My mom will be 90 soon and I know they don’t operate unless there’s no other way. Bless his heart for wanting to be here for those he loves, even in this difficult time of grief.

@marveylust My parents lost 3 of their 5 children rather quickly ( and I didn’t mention my mom’s family in Germany-the same thing was happening at the same time ). Really tough!

Love this! We have done the monarch hatching kit as well. It was super exciting watching them hatch and we took them outside. At first, they were clingy, yes, butterflies! They didn’t want to fly away. Then they exercise their wings and take off. Memorable for sure. Everyone should experience that. Was amazing! 🫶🏻🦋🦋🦋🦋

I was just there sitting for them Mon-Wed, and at dinner when I told him I wasn’t staying that night but going home he looked down and then up and solemnly said,”I’ll miss you.” I got teary! He’s only 2 1/2 and that seemed so beyond his grasp to state that! Life just keeps giving us all we need when we can truly receive all it flows out 🦋
