Hi, everyone! I'm Megan. 🤗💕 My life proudly revolves around… 1. Being a cat mom to the world’s most adorable dirty Cheeto you see above: Calliope the feisty Calico! 😻😜 (She’s a Scorpio lol) 2. Sustainability in every sense of the word! ✌️♻️ (Check out my other post to learn more about some of the ways I incorporate green thinking and planning into all of my e-commerce ventures!) ✨✨✨ I come from a smoke-free, furever animal-friendly home, 💕, but fear not my allergen-conscious friends! All items are lint-rolled and stored in (recyclable) poly bags (or similar) prior to shipment and are always packaged with care. 💝 ♻ All items are mindfully packaged using eco-friendly supplies! ♻ Refuse → Reduce → Reuse → Repurpose → Recycle I also pledge to be completely, transparently honest and detailed in all my listings. If there are any issues, I'm sure to note it. D: When I first started on PM I was just using a white bed sheet I had at home, but I got tired of the makeshift setup so I ended up buying a background stand and white background drop sheet from Amazon! (Which, by the way, the $14 white sheet I bought is nothing more than a glorified white bed sheet....)

pulled_by_stars @danalouf But anyway, I'm honestly not sure how much it's help me in "post". On what you might call the super clean white shots?, I go in and cut out the image in Photoshop with the pen tool. For most of the photo editing, though, I use Adobe's Lightroom. It quickly helps brighten up the white and take away some of factors that cause color imbalances.

pulled_by_stars @danalouf I'm probably way too obsessive about making sure the color of the item looks as close to the real thing as possible, so I spend WAY too much time in Lightroom!! BUT, there's nothing that bugs me more than buying something online that looks, say, red, but is actually pink, and so on.

pulled_by_stars @danalouf I recently bought a lighting kit on Amazon that has light umbrellas, so I'm really hoping that if used properly it'll cut down on my editing time. I haven't used them yet, but I'd be happy to let ya know how it turns out when I do! :) Sorry, I don't know if I answered your question adequately!
