~ •Hello Posh friends! My name is Raquel Wolfe• This closet is dedicated to my fur baby, the one-eyed wonder, Chance. Chance was the sweetest rescue, but unfortunately he also had serious health issues so I joined Poshmark to help offset some of the costs of caring for him. Sadly, he passed away on August 16, 2020 • A little about me: I enjoy reading, painting, knitting and meeting all you lovely people on Posh. 😁 Thanks so much for stopping by! What a handsome guy! May sound weird but he made me think of my dad. He passed Dec 15th at 87... and had a glass eye. Lost it due to an accident while playing with a cousin. He was only 8. Had to be very hard. How did Chance lose his? By the way, I’m sorry for your loss of Chance. We lost our 13 yo lab in September so I can relate. Be well.

@resale4you Thank you! My condolences for the loss of your dad & fur baby. The vet couldn’t tell us what the exact cause was. He started having issues & developed an ulcer despite us treating it, the ulcer ended up piercing through his eye (sorry if this is tmi) causing emergency surgery.

@resale4you The eye/nerves were so damaged they couldn’t save it or do any testing. I think he had an infection that spread to his eye causing the issue. He had gotten sick with a respiratory illness so I took him in but they couldn’t do anything, after that the problems started.

@quel_w Oh wow (piercing of eye)! I can “feel” your concern and love just reading your reply. I know you did the very best you could for him. 🥰 Infections and viruses are sneaky buggers. I ended up w/pacemaker/ defibrillator at 55 due to a ❤️ virus. They didn’t know when I had it or what virus it even was. Wear your 😷😊🐾🥰
