Hi Poshers! 🙋🏼 My name is Kristen and I'm from NJ. I'm a high school English teacher and a shopaholic! I have a sweet Westie, Maisie, who is my #1 Posh helper. 🐾 I've been a part of the Posh community since March 2014 and I'm not exaggerating when I say that it has changed my life. notoriousvog @jewelrychoice I felt the same way when I started listing my items! It surprised me how long it took! I've tried to add some new items each week. My best advice to you when you're getting started is to follow as many people as you can and share as many items as you can. Most poshers will return the favor!

ball_mom SC. After teaching for 13 years in the classroom, I am starting my 4th year teaching online courses for our state dept of ed. With my growing wardrobe (thanks to Posh!), you'd think I leave the house far more often than I do. 😂😂😂. I loved the classroom but have really loved the flexible hours withy kiddos. 💕

ball_mom Funny you say that! When I taught, I had my uber nice wardrobe for work and then TOTALLY bummy clothes for not being at work. I literally had nothing in between. Now I've ditched the uber nice (okay, I have WAY more church dresses than I can possibly wear and can't stop myself) but have developed this nice little wardrobe of JC and such. I no longer look homeless at home. Ha! I am also much less stressed these days--and volunteer with kids at my church more. It all balances out in the end. Where are you? (LOVE your closet, BTW!)

notoriousvog @thebling Yes, it does take a long time to list items! I always iron things first and try to style them nicely on my mannequin - the whole process takes HOURS! That's okay because I think of Posh as my part time job. 😉 Just say no to lowballers! 🙅

notoriousvog @thebling I have heard some horror stories with trading and I think you're smart not to do it. Most people on Posh are really nice, but unfortunately, some people see that you're new and try to talk you into something crazy. My best advice is to do some research before you price your items and then stick to a fair price. I'm willing to negotiate a bit, but I also remind myself that I'm selling items from J. Crew and Banana Republic, not Forever 21 or H&M!

notoriousvog @thebling Bundling is great because the buyer only has to pay shipping once. What I do is create a new listing for both items and I call it "Bundle for @notoriousvog." Then describe what's included in the bundle and price it for what you've agreed upon. Then tag the person when you're ready for her to buy. I'll tag you in one of my old listings so you can see how I did it. I hope that helps!

Most buyers on Posh are honest, but I’m afraid some might see that you’re new and try to take advantage. Don’t feel like it’s a lost sale - legitimate buyers will make the purchase through Posh so that both seller and buyer are protected! 😀

If something goes wrong with the sale, Posh can’t protect you. If she’s really serious about buying the dress, she should be okay with paying for shipping. If I were you, I’d tell her that you have to go through Posh. Delete that listing with its comments, since anyone can read them and see where you’ll be 😳 Then I’d make a new listing for the dress and start over.
