American Writer's & Artist's Institute "Writing For Love & Money" How to Become a Successful Romance Writer, in print and on CD. While cleaning out our house recently, I came across this course that I had purchased years ago (back when most courses were distributed on paper & CD, not Udemy or Courseara). Back then, I read through it all, did the exercises, and actually produced a decent mystery romance novel. I then stuck the book in a drawer for a few years until self-publishing became a thing, at which point, I pulled it out, dusted it off, and started selling it online. I then wrote 6 more books, and I still sell them today, so I can personally recommend the course. Writing For Love & Money was designed to send the student 2-3 chapters in the mail each month, with information to read/listen to, followed by exercises to perform. I did NOT fill out the exercises inside the workbook, because I wanted to keep it pristine, so it's still like new, except for colored tabs I added to mark the start of each chapter (see photo). Included in the blue binder are the original monthly letters, 358 workbook pages of content/exercises, 6 CDs of successful romance authors describing their techniques, and 3 Bonus Reports on the industry.
