Hi! What does color transfer mean? Fading or other ?

@gagengus with lamb skin they always warn against wearing your bag with unwashed dark denim due to the color transferring from the jeans to the more absorbent nature of the bag/leather. This color came from a leather treatment that must have come off a treated couch, from the bag being set on a Carmel leather couch. No other colors have affected the bag so it must have just been a newly treated couch or something. It’s very faint.
