nataliewilcox Hey Jordan...I wanted to give you an update on your vintage Dior bag that you purchased from me. I packed it up snd took it to a delivery drop off location on Friday. I still haven’t gotten the email confirming that I was shipped out so I called them today. They said it was indeed picked up by the USPS but that they are running really behind. It was making nervous that I hadn’t gotten that email yet! Hopefully I get confirmation soon.

frugallily2 @jordanmboswell hi quick question abt Poshmark so when u price ur items do u place it a little higher than the price u would want it as so when u make ur customer an offer u can offer that actual price as the sale price? bc when a customer wants to buy an item Poshmark makes the seller lower the price for a btr deal.

jordanmboswell @frugallily2 hi! I wouldn’t say I price higher. The price I post is what I’d like to sell at 😊 and I base it on market price/condition/quality. Since my items are all second-hand and I’m not a boutique or wholesaler, I can be more flexible if someone has an offer because it’s not like I’m trying to cover costs or make a profit here, personally. Poshmark is just a way for me to switch out things in my closet and recoup some of the expense.

jordanmboswell @frugallily2 I will also say Poshmark shipping, taxes, and fees have gotten higher and higher over time so I understand when customers offer a different price to account for all of that.

frugallily2 @jordanmboswell For ex. when I'm selling a tee for $10 if a customer wants to buy it Poshmark makes the seller (or me for instance) lower the price as an offer but what if my price is firm?... I can't have a work around since the box turns red.

jordanmboswell @frugallily2 if you don’t want to sell for lower you can just decline the offer and the shirt will remain for sale. You do not have to accept a lower offer.

jordanmboswell @frugallily2 yes that’s smart. If your price is firm, you can say that in your description and just decline any offers that are too low for you.
