I was speaking with one of the employees about the Core short and inquired what would be the closest available short to them. She said to try "T.H.E Short." Maybe a good idea to check them out. Not sure I could be much help with the current trend of buying and opening a store. Brick and Mortar stores are challenging today with the rise in internet shopping. Poshmark is great - you have built in clients with a 20% overhead. Its a win win! I believe in following your dreams/goals, with educated decisions. "Don't dream your life, live your dream."

I reached my year of remission from cancer this August, (after battling 3 times with the damn disease), & I decided this was the year for me to get healthy, so I started running, & I'm gong to do my first 10k this weekend! I've been training hard, & uts amazing to me, that my little body can still do amazing things, life is so good, even on bad days, I appreciate the shares & posh ❤️, you are a bad a$$!

Naomi - Donna, who I introduced you too had to leave her home with her brand new baby and husband. It’s just awful. 45,000 acres burned and no containment yet. Need prayers for all. 🙏❤️

snr1955 @jio25 Interestingly enough I also had back surgery about 15 years ago. I asked my doctor why as I was in good shape...didn't smoke not overweight. He said basically two types usually have there backs go...overweight people and those that just wear there back out from using it hard. Hope your recovery has been successful so far. Hard to behave when you are used to being active.

jio25 @snr1955 - We are #spinesisters - haha. It's been tough not being as active as I was but hoping to get back at it soon. I won't run anymore - I think that is what angered my back. I use to do marathons and been runner since HS. Then I fell in love with cycling and triathlon. Swimming in the ocean was a tough feat but I got somewhat good at it. Is your back pain free now?

snr1955 @jio25 Yes...when I behave. I was lucky and they were able to stitch the pieces of my blown disc (think Humpty Dumpty) back together again. No fusions no rods... which may have given me restricted movement I suspect. Spinesisters...good one. I like that. : )

Fusing does restrict movement and thus the discs above it pick up the slack and eventually may have to be fused as well - so let's stay away from that! We'll keep the non-fused Spinesisters label with no fusing. LOL. Hope you are doing well.

My mom died 2 years ago at 98 and she was my best friend - always very spirited and never a downer. Miss her SOOOO much! Dad is turning 97 this Nov and just had dinner with him. luvcoco888 @jio25 My friend had issues with her bike so she abandoned after mile 90 since she was not going to make the time cutoff. Not one to be deterred, she has signed up for the 1/2 Ironman at Lake Placid in Sept. Go Suz! I give her so much credit because she has alway been afraid of swimming and is now a great swimmer. Not easy in your 50s! SO proud of her! Of course we loaded up on carbs during her visit - just doing my part! LOL!

Family is everything to me too. :) You will enjoy Georgetown's basketball fanfare. A few of the greats like Patrick Ewing and Allen Iverson rose from Georgetown. It's exciting to follow college sports, especially when you have a connection to the school!

jio25 @luvcoco888 - It’s been horrible and terrifying. We had a mandatory evacuation. We packed up 3 cars and waited and watched. Look at the last photo in this post- from our upstairs window. So scary. Thankfully, our house is still standing. But lots of friend lost their homes. Luckily no lives lost. Thank you for checking in 😘.

jio25 @luvcoco888 - Shelley is ok. Her house and family all good. Many large and small animals have been taken to shelters. In Malibu, horses were diverted to the beach and are now being cared for there. Many animals are not accounted for. 😢 Horses were seen running while on fire. Made me feel helpless and sick to my stomach. The HSVG is a sight to animals. They need support. Another donation site: www.vccf.org - helps all affected by the fires. You are so thoughtful Rae. Love of animals!

Families my kids went to school with. It's so sad. Read about the Paramount Ranch. It is a western film set built in the 1920's. All was destroyed except for the church. My husband was the one who coordinated the building of it for the Westworld set. The only thing left standing Thank you for your prayers. xoxoxox

We're hoping the amazing firefighters douse the flames quickly and the homes are saved - many beautiful homes there. The first responders have worked so hard, many helping from nearby states. jio25 @faithoverfear07 grateful to all the firefighters coming in from other states. I met Gerard Butler on a flight. We took a photo together. He’s a nice guy. Lots of Celebs who live in our area lost homes too. Rain is in the upcoming forecast but now we are feared for mudslides. Last year Montecito was taken out by the fires and then the mudslides. Ugh!

The fires began the day after the shooting and people were scrambling. Emotions have been all over the place. Hope is the word I choose to see rising from the ashes. jio25 All the rains here in CA have created a floral wonderland. The traffic going to the super bloom areas are nuts! They had to bring in shuttle services. The cherry blossom time of year is a gorgeous sight! When my daughter was going to school in Washington - I remember the blossoms being stunning in the spring. jio25 @luvcoco888 - Hello Rae. We are all doing well - Mom included. Los Angeles has been our hot spot but not nearly as bad as the East Coast. It's starting to kick up a bit like it is in so many other places since July 4th. Our daughter moved back home from Santa Monica - it got hit really hard with the looting and rioting. Trying times is right! How about you? Is your son's school opening or doing online studies in the fall? And, how is your dad? So nice to hear from you sweet friend! X O X

luvcoco888 @jio25 Hi Again! So glad to hear you, your family and mom are well. So scary for your daughter - it must be nice for all of you to have her home. It looks as if my son will be home for the entire school year unless things change drastically. Only freshman and some (not all) seniors will be allowed to reside on campus. I think their classes will all be online as well.

jio25 @luvcoco888 - It is a good time to have family home right now. But I bet your son is bummed for his school year to done so remotely. I know how much they enjoy their college life. We have talked about it with our kids and how they would have felt if this had happened to them when in college. They would have been so disappointed. I have friends who asked for a reduction in tuition and got it .... If you haven't done so, you might want to inquire. :)

Your dad being a fighter is inspiring. My mom is the same way. They truly are the Greatest, and Toughest, Generation! As they would say, "Tough as Nails." Luckily for us, FL is super "hot" and we have had no problem renting it out. Excited for a little adventure! Where are you considering?

jio25 @luvcoco888 - Those "what the heck" moments can be fun! Had one of the same years ago when I was in Mammoth Mtn with a friend. She was house hunting and I decided my family should do the same. I called my husband and said, "we should buy a vacation home in Mammoth." He said, ok, see what you can find! Bought one that day. We are a skiing/snowboarding family so it ended up being the place where we created the BEST memories as a family.

For the most part, the great CA weather and all the amenities that goes with good weather - the beach, snow covered mountains, golf, cycling all make it hard for us to leave. So, we shall see! jio25 @luvcoco888 - Hi Rae! Where we live we weren't affected by the snow but got slammed with the rain and high winds. Lots of trees down, road signs, etc. It's been wild weather. We needed the rain/snow but geeez - not all at once! My son was in Mammoth this weekend and as a kid who grew up going there, he was shocked how much snow they received! We had an unexpected tornado rip right through our back year a couple of years ago - lost several tress but no damage to the house which was amazing! Otherwise, we are all doing well and looking forward to warmer weather and spring buds. We will head to Fl mid April for a few weeks and hope to go to Paris for a week in late May. jio25 @luvcoco888 - Tornados are really scary! Glad your house was not damaged! Phew! My husband and kids spent Thanksgiving with my Mom and stayed the long weekend with her. Sometime after we left, she fell. When I couldn't reach her we headed out there and found her on the floor, thankfully conscience. In short, she got dehydrated and her BP dropped. I went into warp speed and moved her out by me and now selling her house. It's been a tough 3 months! Happy she is safe and close to me. ❤️

luvcoco888 @jio25 Thank goodness she had you and your family checking up on her. So many are not so fortunate. We moved from CT to DE to take care of my parents for 20 years. Extremely stressful, tiring but so rewarding. My son and husband got to spend a ton of time with them and that added to my parent's quality of life immeasurably. I'll bet your mom will be so glad you are nearby!

jio25 @luvcoco888 - Your family is similar to mine! ❤️ And yes, it is stressful at times, but very rewarding as well. My husband has been so helpful and is very close to my Mom. My daughter visits her often - she is the closest grandchild to my Mom. I started an exercise class where she is. There are 5 women there. It's a hoot hanging out with them and also getting them moving. My Mom calls them "The Golden Girls." My Mom is the Betty White in the group! LOL You're a beautiful human Rae! XOX

Hanging out with my parents and their "contemporaries" gave my son the appreciation of the intelligent and vitality that group possessed. oohlala_coco @jio25 It is glorious here. 85 degrees and sunny. Off season so it's not as crowded. I will be here until around May 11, then pick my son up from Washington, DC and drop him off in NYC where he will work until the end of July. Have some girlfriends flying down to FL for a week - we have a new airline flying from DE to various points in FL for around $49 if you just bring a bag. Apparently the plane has wings and engines, so it's all good! LOL. Have a great day!
