Full disclosure: 🖤 purchased on thredup for $75+tax 🖤 the bag was painted so thredup offered return 🖤 I was certain that if I returned, the bag would be sold again with the paint still on. decided to rescue. 🖤 I cleaned up most of the paint with a deglazer and acetone - more below Any repairs, cleaning/conditioning products used, dunking, etc: 🖤 acetone and deglazer to remove paint 🖤 dunked to remove access paint (and dye?) 🖤 conditioned with bick4 🖤 light layer of blackrock 🖤 buffed with microfiber cloth and horsehair brush (repeated conditioning and buffing three times with one week interval) The leather absorbs conditioner now. I had to dunk because the pores were clogged before. The leather feels softer and smoother now. I feel that it can go to someone with more rehab experience to be fully restored to its former glory.
