40's 50's Vintage Sky Blue Shorts, Blue Handmade Culottes

I was so excited when I got these adorable high-waisted split-skirt shorts, and my big butt broke my heart. These adorable, light blue shorts are the perfect edition to a historically accurate40/50s's summer. Culottes were popular with the youth around the 60s as well, so there's plenty of range for these! These handmade shorts are in beautiful condition, I have found one spot of discoloration which is a faint yellowing on the front right pant leg, and there was only one torn seam which I re-sewed (both pictured above). They have a sturdy metal side zipper and a button closure which both are in good condition. I wear about a size 12 in pants and these could fit on me, but did not lay well due to how it pulled the pleating. I would recommend a size medium. Measurements are taken flat and in inches: Waist: 13 Hips (relaxed): 20 Hips stretched: 24 (would not recommend, these will not lay right on you if you pull the pleat apart too far) Length: 22' Love these shorts and I'm sad I have to let them go, but they're an absolute gem and I'm so excited for someone to get to enjoy them!
