@reddrosy I'm contacting you on my own old buried listing to keep things discreet. I didn't realize the whole tip of one of the shoes was black. I'm a little bit disappointed bc it wasn't mentioned or shown and it's definitely a noticeable thing since it's approx 1cm2 area but I don't want to be a problem. I may open a case and perhaps posh will offer a credit. If I had known there was a black mark I either would have waited for another pair or offered 350.
tiffcake
Again, I'm trying to be discreet by keeping this off your listing. I also put it on an unsold listing (sold ones can never be deleted if someone says something nasty). You and I both have good communication with other buyers and sellers so I'd like to maintain that :) I'm not angry or feisty--just a bit disappointed. In good news, they will fit fine once stretched. They're not as tight as I feared.
tiffcake
Typically when posh does a credit (from what I've heard) it doesn't affect the seller or punish them in any way.
tiffcake
We can work it out :)
tiffcake
If my cobbler can paint it to match I'd be happy with that outcome... he touched up a snakeskin pair that I scuffed & he charged me $75 (25 per color & he needed 3 colors) but I'm not sure if he can do it with a metallic finish or not.
tiffcake
So I will let this simmer for a day instead of immediately releasing... I'll get the quote tomorrow & if he says he can fix them for $25 then I'll release the funds bc I think they're a good price & I don't mind paying $25. If it's more then I'll contact posh to see if they will issue partial credit for quoted repair price. Does that sound fair? @reddrosy
reddrosy
@tiffcake I didn't realize there was a black mark on them. They have been in the box for over a year. I have no problem credit you back some of the money or shipping them back to me. I can take see I can have it clean for you.
reddrosy
@tiffcake feel free to email me. Rosydeoliveira@yahoo.com I do apologize, the black spot wasn't there, I don't know how and when it happened to be honest with you. It's my own fault, that I didn't double check the shoes before packaging. I will knock down the price to $350
reddrosy
@tiffcake let me know what he says, if it's over $50, my guy might do it cheaper. I will contact poshmark on my behalf as well.
tiffcake
@reddrosy I haven't emailed posh yet bc if it's just $25 I'll accept them and release the funds. I don't think it would be more than $50--I'm just scared he can't fix metallic and will send me home sad
reddrosy
@tiffcake ugh! I am so sorry girl! I should've looked before I sent them out. You can always return them & I will get them fixed for you. I will get the bottoms resoled as well.
reddrosy
@tiffcake normally I am good about double checking, but that morning was crazy so I just rushed out of the house. Ugh! Let me know what happens. If anything I will figure out a way to credit you $25-$50 dollars

@blizzardgirl16 I’m tagging you here on one of my buried listings bc posh doesn’t have private messaging & I’m trying to discreetly chat with you w/our causing you any drama on yours
tiffcake
@blizzardgirl16 your loub pair isn’t authentic like your listing states & I’m super sorry!! Try to get your money back & don’t give up!! They’re mimicking a style called anemone & there’s lots of red flags—the silhouette is wrong, outsole isn’t correct, & the bow is WAY off (should have very long Loose ends on bottom to the floor & different# of loops on each side, also varying greatly in size to cascade whole height of the shoe top to bottom) & heel taps don’t come in plastic bags. Good luck!!
tiffcake
@blizzardgirl16 NM should NOT be selling fakes under any circumstances. But yours aren’t authentic so you should DEFINITELY fight to get your money back!! Yours have incorrect silhouette/materials/construction everywhere. Should be an embellished old-cut pigalle but the whole upper is wrong, especially the top line & vamp, & the stiletto isn’t even shaped correctly either. The outsole shouldn’t be plastic. Satin should be finished on the bow so it can’t fray like yours. I’m so sorry—good luck!!
tiffcake
@tbstephenson reaching out on my own buried listing bc posh doesn’t have private msging & I’m trying to be discreet. Sincerely apologize if I’ve overstepped—you were recently interested in black pair of loubs copying style called anemone—wanted to let you know they’re definitely counterfeit (seller isn’t being up front about it). Just make sure you offer a price you’re comfortable paying for replicas. I’ve reported them million times but posh isn’t very good at removing fakes in timely manner
tiffcake
@tbstephenson I already discreetly warned the seller that they were fake (& described the many many many reasons the pair isn’t even close to the authentic pairs) but she still insists they are authentic & even claims to have purchased them directly from a department store. Fake box & all. Again, just trying to look out for you & I’m sorry if I stuck my nose into your business.
tiffcake
@annouls posh doesn’t have private messaging & I’m trying to be discreet—that’s why I’m reaching out to you on my own buried listing. I wanted to warn you bc I saw that you were interested in a white ombré snake pair from tamararose something... that pair is fake. She’s using a stock photo for her covershot. It’s at least the 7th time she’s deleted the listing & relisted it, circumventing posh’s reporting mechanism
tiffcake
@annouls w/ each version, she’s changed/omitted certain info or pics that have been called out as proving their counterfeit status. She’s really really being dishonest. And quite manipulative—learning each time from everyone that tries to intervene to become even more cunning in her deception
tiffcake
@annouls I apologize for sticking my nose in your business but I didn’t want to see you pay that for fakes, or worse, trade your authentic pair w/ her (I checked yours). To me it’s even worse to lose a pair than getting tricked out of money (especially bc posh wouldn’t protect you)
Again I’m sorry; we have to look out for each other bc some people are just really not very kind or honest
annouls
@tiffcake wow. Thank you!!!!!
annouls
@tiffcake I appreciate it!!!
tiffcake
@queenbeejazmin posh doesn’t have private msging & I’m not trying to cause you drama in your closet so I’m tagging you here on one of my buried not for sale listings so I can discreetly let you know that your white louboutin is unfortunately counterfeit. I’m really very sorry. Fight like heck to get your mom’s money back—good luck!
queenbeejazmin
@tiffcake How do you know that?
tiffcake
@queenbeejazmin I collect (horde) shoes & I have lots of louboutin so I spend lots of my free time learning (and/or asking for help from more knowledgeable ppl/experts). Yours aren’t using correct materials, don’t exhibit the correct construction, & don’t have the correct silhouette. The easiest to spot is the incorrect silhouette, plastic outsole, & embossed textile
tiffcake
It’s not actual exotic animal hide (python) just embossed white something. No actual scales, just scale patterns. There’s only a few embossed textiles over the years—typically not embossed leather or rubberized leather—usually something like embossed cork.
tiffcake
@queenbeejazmin but if you need to get nasty with anyone to force the return to get your money back, you can use lollipuff for authentication services (they charge a fee though). You can get free authentication services through “the purse forum” (ask google). Good luck!!
queenbeejazmin
@tiffcake well this is a bummer but thank you for letting me know! I’ll definitely try to get my money back.
tiffcake
@queenbeejazmin don’t TRY—force them. A wise person once told me that “people don’t get the treatment they deserve, they get the treatment that they demand” and it rings very true. You can be polite but be firm and don’t back down and don’t give up! 😘
tiffcake
@kkalexandra im tagging you on a buried listing of mine bc I don’t want to stir up any trouble for you in your closet & posh doesn’t have private msging. Your yellow/pvc CL slingbacks are counterfeit. Your other CL’s are authentic though so I’d hate for your reputation to be questioned over a mistake. Please understand I’m trying to be discreet—I’m interested in your Charlotte Olympia pair so please don’t block me. I’m only trying to help
tiffcake
If you block me then it also blocks me from purchasing or making offers. I can see from your closet that we are similar size & I collect (horde) shoes so it would be disappointing if I’ve angered you & you blocked me
kkalexandra
@tiffcake hi, no worries.! And thanks. Which Charlottes did you want
tiffcake
@kkalexandra whew! You never know how someone will take the news—I appreciate your understanding! I’m really interested in your black and white platform pair. I just spent a crap ton on shoes this week so I probably won’t buy on posh again for another 2 weeks but those are going to be mine for sure! 😘
kkalexandra
@tiffcake no worries and thank you girl.
Where are you located? If you’re open to other ways of doing it I can work with you on price a little
tiffcake
@buzztvhollywood tagging you here on a buried listing of mine bc posh doesn’t have private msging & I’m trying to be discreet/not cause you drama on yours. I don’t sell on posh anymore—just buy (and help posh friends find things or identify things) so this is as discreet as I can be. The boots I asked you about? They’re counterfeit—I’m so sorry! Maybe your husband can file a claim with the credit card company bc it’s illegal for them to have been sold to him.
tiffcake
@buzztvhollywood I say credit card, bc it’s easier to let them hassle the seller on your behalf. But he could force the issue w/ the original seller himself. Don’t give up no matter what. Ppl get the treatment they demand, not what they deserve—so demand them to make it right 😘
buzztvhollywood
@tiffcake thank you so much for your help. It’s crazy cuz I would of never know. He didn’t either. They should arrest these people that make these counterfeits. I’m gonna take them down to the store to double check and so they can show me what to look for so we know better next time. Thank you again. ❤️
buzztvhollywood
@tiffcake the sad thing is I don’t have the heart to tell my hubby.. But I’m definitely going to tell him to Not buy me a Hermès bag that I want real bad with out me there so I can go through the right channels so he doesn’t get ripped off. Thank you again. It would have been so embarrassing to sell it and find out that way. I’m so bummed. But the good thing is I didn’t disappoint someone else. I appreciate you. Thank you. ❤️
tiffcake
@buzztvhollywood if you ever have ?s there’s pretty knowledgable ppl on here that are actual pro’s (I’m just collector so I ask for help too sometimes) Although I always advocate learning materials/construction/silhouettes of the styles each season & downplay reliance on stamps (easiest part to fake compared to whole soul/spirit of shoe) your pair’s outsole stamp had etching instead of a single imprinted strike on leather so problem was clear immediately even before getting to important stuff
tiffcake
@buzztvhollywood I’m just really sorry. He wanted to give you a nice gift. I think men are easy targets for ladies shoes—scammers use their good intentions to provide gifts against them.
buzztvhollywood
@tiffcake I am now looking at all the online how to tell. I just never questioned it back then. I wore them once then took them to my house in Washington and actually just had them and other items shipped back to our place here, thought I would throw them on thinking someone would offer half of the worth. Now half the worth is 19 dollars instead of 1900. Lol These were my first LOU ‘s ever. Go figure. Lesson learned to do my homework . ❤️
tiffcake
@summer03 Tagging you here on a buried listing of mine bc posh doesn’t have private msging & I’m trying to be discreet/not invite drama in your closet. I don’t sell on posh anymore—just buy (& help posh friends find/identify pairs) so this is as discreet as I can be. That pair is fake. Even though the problem is that they don’t fit it’s an illegal transaction & posh CANNOT facilitate it. So you can force the return due to counterfeit. Doesn’t matter if it’s outside window to accept purchase.
summer03
@tiffcake really? How do i go about doing this
tiffcake
@summer03 you contact posh support about your purchase that it’s a counterfeit item. Be as firm as you need to be. Dont back down. They will at first ignore you and you remind them it’s internationally illegal to facilitate the sale of counterfeits. They will offer a site credit. That’s not good enough. You need to get them to inspect @ their headquarters.. it will fail their authentication. But they actually outsource authentication using photos which you can just provide them
tiffcake
@summer03 I’m not a pro, just a collector. But I can already tell they’re counterfeit with the photos you’ve got (wrong materials, silhouette, construction, and it appears to have been intentionally hidden from you by seller by resoling). The listing has probably been reported by several ppl & will get taken down. You shouldn’t be stuck with them. You’re a victim.
summer03
@tiffcake actually, i took to my shoe guy and had them resole..do not onky amni out the money i bought i spent $60 to have them resoled. This makes me mad because the seller said they are 100% authentic
tiffcake
@summer03 oh my word! 😢 I am so sorry!! Ok, you definitely need to open a case with posh. They are obligated to provide a legal buying/selling platform. Their enforcement is problematic. Maybe the seller from whom you bought was also tricked so I shouldn’t jump to conclusions regarding their intentions.
leetisha1017
@tiffcake Hey, I’m looking to purchase a pair Gressimo like these on PM, can I tag you and verify if you think they’re authentic?
tiffcake
@leetisha1017 I sincerely apologize! I’ve been a ghost for months!! If they’re still available yes I can try to help you out! Not an expert though, just a collector. I’ll be honest if I don’t know and put you in touch with someone really experienced. I’m good at finding stylenames and have a great hoard of CL but I’m rusty
