These are the photos you will need in addition to those in my actual listing if you want to double check my claims of authenticity on TPF... Just make sure you read the info carefully on the authentication thread first and do the searching in case someone else has already authenticated them so the ladies don't waste their time duplicating verifications 😄

@mcsanroman tagging you in one of my own listings so I can chitchat without raising hackles of the seller... I saw you were interested in a pair of heels by seller cupcake something and were willing to offer $350--those are in fact replicas!! No question about it at all! Not even close. Please don't pay that price! You can find real ones for that price.
mcsanroman
Thank you so very much or letting me know I will keep looking :)
tiffcake
@mcsanroman if you ever need help authenticating you can post items to "the purse forum" which has a louboutin authentication thread. Theres a specific format you need to use to post requests and there's specific photos that they need but always better safe than sorry 😊 The required photos aren't on that listing (red flag) and price is below posh authentication... the dust bag is crazytown fake and the sole is fake and covered with film
tiffcake
@mcsanroman I think this seller (@keekee0914) might be a similar size as you but I don't quite remember your size... She always has authentic shoes, and has great prices and sales--even on some rare pairs! You should follow her if your size matches to find a great authentic pair :)
keekee0914
@tiffcake Thanks sweetpea! :)
tiffcake
@chelseaestell that pair of simple pumps is very obviously fake (Not even slightly ambiguous). Very sorry that happened in my hometown. Hopefully you paid with credit card--you may be able to fight charge & get refunded. It's illegal for someone to sell you counterfeits bearing trademarks. You should totally fight! Tagging you in one of my own listings so there's no drama on yours. (can't message you so this is the only way I can give you heads up being discreet & protecting your reputation)
chelseaestell
@tiffcake hey girl, I definitely appreciate your heads up and
genuine kindness and concern. I'm not at all trying to argue your point, I am just very confused of why or what you see or what signs make you think so. I'm wondering also because I purchased these in store at Caesar's Palace, so now I'm just really confused bc I am not at all arguing with you, it definitely seems like you have great knowledge on the matter
chelseaestell
, I'm just wondering how it would be possible to be scammed inside of a store :(
tiffcake
@chelseaestell the shape isn't quite correct from the side view and top view (silhouette) and the heel's shape isn't quite correct. The insole is really wrong. The older shoes have (or don't have) the vero cuoio stamp but the new shoes don't have it and your pair being purchased as new last year definitely shouldn't have it. You can get them authenticated for free at "the purse forum"
tiffcake
They have a thread called "authenticate this" in the "louboutin shopping" subforum. The first post explains the specific pics they need and the format they need it posted in
tiffcake
Sometimes folks purchase a shoe, then return a counterfeit keeping the authentic. Then someone unknowingly buys the counterfeit. I've only heard of it happening at the department stores, not the boutiques. And boutique personnel should definitely know how to spot one. But sometimes stores have policies that they have to accept it no matter what--the problem is, policy aside, they are NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED TO RESELL IT! Which is why I think you should fight it
tiffcake
I can help you post if you need it. The pics that you need are like the ones in this listing and the original listing. I do it for all of my louboutin. But now that I've upgraded my app I see we can add more pics and zoom now!! So I won't need to do it in separate listings anymore! Now if they would just add messaging! Like I said, I didn't want to cause drama on yours so I used an old listing of mine. I'm super sorry--I hope they didn't think they could get away it's it bc you aren't a local
tiffcake
@babycakes1412 do not feel silly!!! You should not feel ashamed someone tricked you. Just know that you do NOT have to pay for them. It's illegal for posh to allows sales of counterfeits. I had been reporting that pair REPEATEDLY and posh does nothing to remove them and protect buyers
tiffcake
@babycakes1412 that pair is a very subtle fake. They weren't available in pink/nude patent but I also have the real lucifers & I was able to compare them to spot the differences. Send them back. That seller has 4 pairs of fakes. If you want a real lucifer pair for that price, there's one available on eBay in 37 right now. Though you'll be competing with me bc I need to replace my 37.5 pair (they run very very big compared to other louboutin styles) 😘
tiffcake
@babycakes1412 if it helps, I can post pics of a real pair in the same positions for comparison. The silhouette is wrong. They also have the wrong stiletto. The pair you bought is definitely made to deceive people & it's despicable that seller intentionally deceived buyers
babycakes1412
Well, at least I know now that my transaction will not go thru, since they are fake, but it sucks that my money is tied up there.
girlmon40
@tiffcake Hi post like the second pic you have here ? 😊
tiffcake
@girlmon40 like the bottom two pics—the side views
girlmon40
@tiffcake Oh ok got it ☝️. Let me post a pic 😀
tiffcake
@dihanna2 tagging you here on my buried listing so we can chat discreetly since posh doesn’t have private messaging. I know someone already said something & it really upset you & I promise I’m not trying to question your integrity (why I’m contacting you here instead of your listing). Your nude platform peep isn’t authentic. There’s many red flags but that doesn’t mean you’re intentionally selling fake or that the person that did it to you did either. Maybe they didn’t know like you didn’t know.
tiffcake
@dihanna2 if it helps I can post authentic pics in same positions for comparison. No matter what, if you bought them fairly recently, fight like heck to get your $$ back since it was illegal for them to sell you counterfeit pair with copyrighted trademarkings (even if it was an honest mistake on their part). Good luck!!! I’m very very sorry it happened to you since I know you care very much about buying authentic 😢
tiffcake
@dihanna2 I’m so sorry—i don’t have any lady highness pairs to photo in same positions for you (that’s the style these are made to look like) I thought I still did but I don’t anymore.
krystalalee
Hey! I noticed you were giving advice on authenticating shoes, I am usually very good at spotting replicas. I got a little excited last night and bought a pair from zackerey. Would you mind taking a look at that post and letting me know your opinion. I zoomed in on the labels and what not... But now I'm second guessing myself.
tiffcake
@krystalalee I can give you second opinion :) I’m not a professional. I only know some pairs of McQueen and louboutin and dior. Soooooo much to learn!! I’ll definitely lean on you too when I need help!! We all need each other’s help :)
tiffcake
@krystalalee I’m a little bury concerned myself but maybe it’s bc the photos are so dim. The stiletto looks a little bit off to me and maybe the toebox...but I wouldn’t want to offer an opinion based on those photos. I think you’ll be able to tell better once you have them in your hands.
tiffcake
@krystalalee The good news is that it’s NVP and I’ve got at least 6 pairs of them (including black patent) so we can use them as references to compare when you get them! Don’t fret just yet—maybe you got a deal! You’ll get your money back if not. It will be ok :)
tiffcake
@krystalalee hey I pulled out my black patent pair & they aren’t as curvy/low cut as the old older very Prive styles and the oddly shaped toebox side view could be the combo of a weird tilted angle (not straight on) & dim lighting. I think you’ll be ok once you have Jen in your hands in natural lighting!
tiffcake
Sorry for all the autocorrect fails. I was typing quickly without paying close enough attention
krystalalee
@tiffcake No worries!! I really appreciate it! That's nice piece of mind, once I get them ill let you know!!! Yes we all have to look out for each other!! 😁😁😁
tiffcake
@krystalalee yeah—that pair looks soooo off but it just makes me appreciate the need for good lighting and straight one views on flat surfaces for all the positions!! When you get them, they’ll either look fake immediately or you can take the right pics & compare to mine. I’ll post them for you not for sale.
tiffcake
@krystalalee just checking in whether you received your shoes yet... my fingers are crossed for you that they’re ok and just photo’d oddly 😘
krystalalee
@tiffcake I did & they are SO fake. 😭 I reported the issues to Posh 4 days ago and I still haven't heard from them. Thanks for asking, I should have known.
tiffcake
@krystalalee if you paid with your credit card maybe you can stop the payment immediately and let them harass poshmark for reimbursement on your behalf. Do you think it was intentional on the seller’s part? Was that why the photos were so dim and oddly tilted?
krystalalee
@tiffcake I have to imagine it was. The box has the label ripped off, so I believe they put fake shoes in a real box. Just not sure why people do that... It's not even a good fake, so I have to assume the seller knew.
krystalalee
@tiffcake Also, I did pay with a credit card - so I'm giving them until Monday & then going that route.
tiffcake
@krystalalee I’ve never had to dispute a poshmark purchase before. But I would get VERY forceful with them that it’s illegal to allows sales of counterfeits and your refund is expected immediately. And make it clear that if they do not resolve it immediately w/ full refund, you’ll open a dispute/claim with your bank/credit card and report the sale to Louboutin stopfake team
http://us.christianlouboutin.com/us_en/stopfake
krystalalee
@tiffcake I appreciate the advice! I did send several emails & just re-submitted my claim. I actually work in corporate banking now & previously worked in corporate retail, so this just really struck a nerve on so many levels. They send an email saying they will respond in 24 hours and it's been a full work week. I legit submitted the order not even 2 minutes after opening the box.
tiffcake
@krystalalee sounds like a stressful job! Use your insider knowledge to get feisty!! The thing that I don’t think bad sellers realize is that maybe they can fool with photos or take photos of different pairs, but anyone that has a few authentic pairs can absolutely tell the difference, immediately, when they are in their hands. So it’s a very short-lived charade.
krystalalee
@tiffcake Agreed! I'm too trsuting, I just got excited at a good deal.
tiffcake
@krystalalee I have my guard up and see red flags, but also want to think the best of people and not jump to conclusions (give benefit of doubt). eBay is really good about removing fakes almost immediately after they’re reported. eBay also processes claims really quickly. Posh definitely does the bare minimum to remove fakes and tends to look the other way... so I would hope they would settle disputes quickly to make up for that. A full business week is too long in my opninion.
tiffcake
@krystalalee please tell me you were able to get your money back from posh—how long did it take??
krystalalee
@tiffcake I did, Poshmark ended up being great after we chatted. That person tried to claim they didn't receive the return, so uncool! I can't believe some people do those things. I ended up just going to the store & I won't buy anything from here for under $500 anymore. 😥
tiffcake
@krystalalee ive been keeping track of ppl that relist the same fake over & over & lying about where they got them or claiming they’re absolutely authentic, and then actually purchasing them if they’re above $500 just so they go to concierge. Their closets get shut down once concierge confirms them as counterfeit. It takes about a week if they ship right away until posh refunds me.
tiffcake
@krystalalee I don’t know if they are permanently shut down or just temporarily. But I’m that serious about the problem to tie up my money for a week, one bad seller at a time.
tiffcake
I hope it shows posh how bad the problem actually is & how it’s easily circumvented by listing under $500 or hoping for an offer below $500.
krystalalee
@tiffcake Makes sense. I wish all sellers were just honest so it wasn't an issue and companies didn't steal designs to knock off. Thats to idealistic I suppose 🙄
tiffcake
@krystalalee have you ever tried yoogi’s closet or The RealReal? Hands down, I consistently pay the best prices for authentic from them (occasionally I get a better deal on posh or eBay here & there, but overall I have great luck with those two). They authenticate on front end. TRR always has a code for 20% off & they markdown unsold items after 30 days 25% or more
tiffcake
@krystalalee Also, there’s a seller here I trust whole-heartedly & she’s on eBay too... @fashion_victim9 has authentic pairs, good prices, lots of sizes, huge inventory that cycles frequently, and even gets some rarer than rare (like, practically one of a kind) pairs still at good prices.
fashion_victim9
@tiffcake thank you love:) and there are many others here who sell authentic too!
krystalalee
@tiffcake AWESOME! Thanks for the recommendation.
sisi_sped
Do you have close up pictures. We can’t tell if these are real. I am really interested but I wanna make sure I’m buying the real thing.,.
tiffcake
@msiheme They were authenticated by posh when I sold them because they were purchased for $650 by the buyer. They are not available because they already sold. The listing is from a time when posh only allowed 4 photos (I had to use multiple listings to provide all the photos that were needed for independent verification prior to purchasing and this is the sister listing to that one that was purchased—I don’t delete my sold listings)
tiffcake
@msiheme I help ppl find authentic
louboutin (and stay away from fake ones) so if you ever find a pair and would like a second opinion, you can ask me & if I don’t know I can ask some other ppl that are more knowledgeable that I trust.
I only share the authentic pairs. And if you see me comment on a pair w/ judgy monacle emoji 🧐 stay away from that pair. Hope that helps! 😘
tiffcake
@msiheme there may be another pair in size 37 available from seller @fashion_victim9 (she a total pro, I can vouch for her) in my opinion they would fit US7.5 in 37 bc they are very steeply pitched/long but they are also very narrow so some ppl think they fit small... I’m US7 and I think that 36.5 fits me best in this particular pair but they won’t work for feet any wider than average
sisi_sped
@tiffcake Thank you so much for all the info you shared with me. I really appreciate it. I’ll take a look at the closet you mentioned.
fashion_victim9
@msiheme I haven't posted them yet. will tag you as soon as I will. thanks
