Barbara Davis 24" Artisan Cloth Doll ~ 1980s Fall Primitive Folk Americana Art

Up for sale is a one of a kind Barbara Davis 24" artisan doll. She's a stuffed cloth primitive folk art doll that's one of a kind. She has red yarn hair pulled back in a half ponytail, black cloth eyes, stitched nose & red stitched mouth. She doesn't have any markings but was purchased directly from the artist. She's wearing her original handcrafted blue, white & black floral dress complete with white apron and bloomers. Her black shoes are stitched as part of the body. The set is in great display condition. Though I noted that her bloomers have a couple of small holes/tiny stain spots & there are a couple of small light discolorations on her skin that may just part of the muslin fabric. She came from the estate of an adult collector & artist, so it's possible that she was never played with or played with very little. All in all, she's absolutely darling & would make a lovely Halloween decoration or addition to any handcrafted primitive doll collection! Make sure to check out the photos & judge for yourself!
