achimmah JMACK01, Go to your local courthouse; bring all of your information with you. You should have still her address. HAVE/ GET DOCUMENTATION OF THE VALUE OF THE THINGS THAFT SHE STOLE FROM YOU. (That is what you indicate here and that is what you should report to the Court. Advise the Court that you want to seek a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT for LARCENY . The Court will ask you for the particulars of the stolen property. IF THAT AMOUNT EXCEEDS A BASELINE THAT IS DETERMINED BY EACH STATE, THE CRIME MAY BE A FELONY. (IN MA THAT AMOUNT IS $250.00). The Court will assign a date for an initial hearing. She will be notified to appear.. YOU MUST APPEAR OR THE COURT .
