Custom pillow cover 26” (w/fringe) Ralph Lauren “Main Sail” @SchindlersFabrics

Handsome VTG 90s Ralph Lauren 100% cotton fabric from @SchindlersFabrics here on PM. This was a gift for my aunt, an architect who loves grey and Art Nouveau style. She loved it! SEWING SPECS/notes: The repeat is about 27”. I cut it 24” 24” feather insert (Ballard’s) I sewed it 23” modifying corners slightly so not to have “points”. You can see videos on YT how to do this, and also how to put in a zipper. Zipper 18” from Hob Lob. Brush fringe is 1.5” came from Greece (Etsy store). Solid black fringe was hard to find. This print is large. I originally ordered 22” insert but it didn’t work. The 24” was perfect. The colors are medium grey and cream w/black brush fringe. The zipper is black. If you’ll notice pics, I put the piece on a grid on my phone to find center.
