My latest custom design for my friend Philippe Willems, a session musician. 🎶

I bought the VTG truckers jacket here on Poshmark for this project! He can play just about any guitar, acoustic or electric, keyboards, and has a studio in his house. He’s a virtuoso! He sent me his CD Home With You several years ago as a birthday gift so I decided it was time to return the favor. He’s now done HWY II Besides his love for music, he served in the USNavy as a translator, been to seminary, and is a scholar in exegesis (exposition/explanation of Scripture). X @factsofmusic®️Philippe Willems. This piece included fabric and vintage (40s) buttons from my own grandmother/her sister’s sewing collection. The guitar is surrounded by “books”, the pocket represents a place for wisdom, and a place for special things. His favorite scripture is Isaiah 54:17. He loved his jacket and said it fit perfectly. Note: the guitar is machine-quilted, and there is tons of hand-stitching. The Cross is made from fine Italian leather tassels from my D&B hobo bag 😆 you can’t even tell they’re missing!
