This was a bittersweet haul for me... I imported my ultimate holy grail from Australia and I scored a rare colorway in Lucifer from Spain. Also scored a Pigalili from France that has super official looking Louboutin stamped rubber sole replacement. But I also had lots of sellers flake, so I lost Pigalili Plato in volcano & Charlotte Olympia provocateur & Casadei blade. Overall I’m really happy & have a special pair from fashionvictim on its way!

tiffcake I finally also found replacement pairs (in better sizes) for my Alexander McQueen rock python pumps and my pigalle mixed spikes! Moral of the story, if you love a pair and search for it for years, eventually you will find it. Don’t give up!

tiffcake @sheeseburger ticked some more off the “wanted” list!! But... I added lots more to the list too ☹️ Some of the new “wanted” pairs are über rare limited editions and runway collection pairs that I probably won’t ever ever find unless some shoe aficionado has an emergency sale or something haha

tiffcake @3starsfashion last pic is my pair that’s going to the shop recommended by Louboutin directly—they look great right?! On the sides you can’t see there’s 5 missing spikes, posts still there so they just need capped. You can kinda barely see the stiletto’s damage (chewed by escalator) they’re charging me a fortune but my local cobbler won’t do it! He’s a punk! That’s why I was bummed when I received Zappa. He already told me he doesn’t do spikes & the place that does is way more expensive

tiffcake @icua410 first pic is pair I imported. I would be happiest in 36 or 36.5 (36 would be tight in toebox bc my feet aren’t narrow but I’ve learned that I like my CL to fit much more snug than other brands/designers) mine are 37

tiffcake @icua410 The pair here on posh you tagged me? Those are nicer condition than mine AND they have nice silver studs (mine are all black) But they have elastic in back & I’m thinking they fit really large even though seller says TTS. All my research says those would fit like 8’s (I can’t wear mine w/out every trick in the book & they still don’t fit great)

tiffcake @cadillacclaire I got the Pumice 120 from VC too!! Fashionvictim was telling me that we can upgrade our accounts or something where we pay one shipping fee for the month or something... I’ve scored some really good pairs from VC but the $40-50 each pair for shipping is killing me. That’s an extra pair of shoes after 4 pairs!

tiffcake @cadillacclaire you’d be surprised also w/ the shipping speed. They use DHL so if the seller ships them to authentication quickly, I honestly get them faster than some of my domestic posh/eBay purchases (if customs isn’t backed up). On average it’s taken me a week from purchase which isn’t bad at all. Plus DHL sponsors rugby sevens wo0oho0o!!

tiffcake @cadillacclaire also... I look at those pumice in the pics and I’m like, that’s one of my fave pairs I ever got. I actually bought an outfit today JUST for that pair of shoes. Everyone else picks shoes for their outfits but I pick outfits for my shoes 🤣🤣

tiffcake @johnhornacek my apologies for sticking my nose into your business—saw you commented on a black pair of CL about sizing. That pair is actually a fake. The real version is called “pigalili” (it looks like my first photo) & the sizing for it is like old cut pigalles—much larger than we are used to wearing. I’m US7 for example & I take all old cut Pigalle styles in 36.5 or 36. I’m usually 37.5 in newer CL styles.

tiffcake @johnhornacek sorry—I meant that the pair you commented on was a fake and I’m not sure if the seller knows it or is hiding it purposefully. The authentic version of the shoe is in my first photo. The authentic version runs very large once it’s broken in even though it’s narrow/not good for wide feet

tiffcake @meko2323 @orjanaeburnett marc32185 sells Louboutin replicas. Anyone pointing discrepancies gets blocked, the listing disappears& gets replaced so facts are hidden from potential buyers. I don’t know if everything is fake bc I only know Louboutin & McQueen shoes specifically. I’ve reported the individual listings & user thousands of times but posh isn’t very good @ enforcement. I can help you more if you’d like. Lots of us will help others bc we all needed help @ some time

tiffcake @meko2323 @orjanaeburnett I got so fed up I tried to purchase for $500 to force the posh authentication @ headquarters so then the fake listings would get removed but seller wouldn’t let me buy. Tell me what seller wouldn’t gladly accept $200 more for their merchandise? One that doesn’t want to risk their merchandise being inspected at posh headquarters and being confiscated and getting their operation shut down.

tiffcake @cadillacclaire I am! I have those saved... i have been VERY good and not buying. I had a heinous tax bill and then I bought solar panels for the house since the tax credit is expiring this year and they aren’t renewing it. Being an adult definitely sucks!

tiffcake @mde27 hi there!! Yes.... eventually... they are 37 and I need them in 36 or 36.5 but I’m a shoe hoarder so I won’t let them go until I get their replacements. I can tag you when I finally find them. These have some condition issues from their previous owner. They are well broken in and definitely show it/fit like it. But they are special in that they’ve been resoled by MM7 in France and have the special branded Christian Louboutin rubber sole

tiffcake @mde27 so if you want a pair in like new condition or good lightly worn condition this definitely isn’t what you want. They have plenty of life left but they’re definitely a used pair and that really turns some people off which I totally understand. They run really big. I’m 36.5 in old cut Pigalle 120 but for suede (the original strass pairs use suede) I need to go down another half.

tiffcake @mde27 there’s a beautiful dark silver pigalili plato on eBay right now (more of a pewter or gunmetal than bright silver) in 35 that I would buy in a blink of they were 36 and I’m still considering trying them and stretching... LOL I’m that desperate. I’ll go check out your pair
