Hi! I'm Ruth. Welcome to Montana! As you can see, I love animals, the outdoors, a casual Western lifestyle, and the big open spaces and magnificent scenery of Montana! I buy nearly all my clothes at L.L.Bean but I also like vintage and artsy things. I'm just getting started, so check back later for casual, outdoorsy, Western and Montana souvenir stuff. wildbluemontana @touchofgrey I love Willie too! I have seen him in concert four times and got to chat with him once years ago outside his tour bus. Such an amazing person! I also saw Johnny Cash five times in concert, and saw them both in The Highwaymen concert on its very last tour in 1995. All absolutely amazing! I have a photo of Willie and me.😊

wildbluemontana @cocovalli Thanks for the many shares! I dreamed of Montana all my life--long before I ever made my first visit, and then I knew I just had to live here someday. Getting here took a very long time. I moved from Maine in 2009 and I will never leave. It's true: Montana is the last best place. But you have to be the kind of person who loves the outdoors, the majestic scenery, can tolerate sometimes tough weather, and who doesn't need city life or tons of people. It's my kind of place!

wildbluemontana @pixielife This past winter was the very coldest I have ever known in my entire life! Even though it's spring, we are still getting occasional snow. But Montana did not get the horrible weather so many other parts of the country got, so I'm grateful for that. Thanks for stopping by.

wildbluemontana @pixielife I have a frost-free hydrant and a heated well house to keep the hose from freezing. But sometimes the ice on the water troughs gets 5-6 inches thick just overnight. Actual temperature here just before Christmas was minus 33 not counting the windchill! Willie Nelson never takes a concert intermission! I have seen him four times and he sings straight through for hours and then he's done! Incredible! I love Willie Nelson!!!
