racha673 @nikxscloset Hi! I am always up for trades, however, I am trying to only buy specific products right now. I will keep an eye out at your store though:)

goodstuff76 Ok, this one looks like a fake.

racha673 @goodstuff76 I updated the photos to show off the true sparkle of this pallette. Phone photos do not do these colors justice. There is so much depth to the #12 pallette.

pati73
pati73 Hi, what store did u buy this from?
Dec 05Reply
racha673
racha673 @pati73 I bought these as a bulk one time purchase from a private seller and tested them for authenticity before using them myself, giving as gifts, and selling them.

racha673
racha673 @pati73 As compared to the Sephora testers and my Sunset and Lilia palettes, these 5 pan palettes are the same in texture, color, smell, and depth. There are lots of fakes of the ND palettes so you need to do what makes you comfortable. I can easily identify a fake of the larger palettes but haven't seen any of the 5 pan so far.

racha673 My theory is that I got these because they have a relatively shorter shelf live than other eye shadows but they are beautiful and comparable in texture to my new palettes from Sephora.

susana1978 Hi are these Authentic? I don't happen to see the serial#on the back of the palette:( does it come with proof of purchase:
Dec 10Reply
racha673
racha673 @susana1978 Hi! Please read the comments and replies on this page for more info about the palettes :) Also the the palette number is near the Made in Italy wording. If you look online you can see that the placement of that can vary slightly on the 5 pan palettes on the right side of the back of the palette.

flowersup2 Hi, I was just reading the comments & replies. And you seems to know what a fake looks like as u said, but not in the 5 pans. That's what I too have been trying to google & figure out what a 5 pan fake would look like or how to distinguish a fake from real. Any tips?

flowersup2 Don't mean to bother you, just trying to learn myself to protect myself. I just made my first MAC purchase on posh & it ended up being 2 fake lipsticks - so frustrating, so trying to get tips & learn from others if possible. Thanks:)

racha673 @jen2rodriguez I completely appreciate your effort!!!! It is so hard and scary to buy products online so I try to be very careful myself. I had looked online and at YouTube videos and am not sure there actually fakes of the 5 pan but I do have criteria to be sure.

racha673
racha673 @jen2rodriguez I own the Lila palette that I purchased from Sephora and the two holiday season palettes from Beautylish as a comparison. When I first was considering buying any online I went to the closest Sephora that had a display that I swatched. My criteria for comparison is smell, texture, spread-ability, pigmentation, and color matching.

racha673
racha673 @jen2rodriguez Online I would definitely check for light visable texture on the glittery shadows. It is a very buttery consistency in person but it does look thicker. The matte shadows are very smooth on top and have more kickback.

racha673 @jen2rodriguez If a person has multiple I would ask them to share swatches. I kept one of each color because that was my underlying goal of owning each one lol. Anyway I compared those to online swatches to check for color consistency.

racha673 @jen2rodriguez I would ask people to take pictures in natural sunlight. It makes it easier to see the texture, pressing patterns (*there shouldn't be a significant one), and true color.

racha673 @nymakeupluvr Hi! Yes, it is. The comments above discuss factors of authenticity because there are tons of take ND products. Thanks- I love kitties and this photo of him:)
