tgctgarrett I just made a bundle offer a few hours ago for 5 palettes. Now, looking at my (rather extensive) palette collection AND my makeup budget, i'm thinking i just need the two blue palettes and the green one. tgctgarrett @racha673 how crazy that we were EXACTLY at the same place pricewise! Perfect! Cannot WAIT to get these....all the palettes i have & i'm really lacking in any variety of blues and greens. So I'm super-stoked that not only will i have great options for both those color families, but they're also the renowned Natasha Denona brand! Heard great things!

racha673 @tgctgarrett I kept one of each color lot I purchased to "test" them lol and because they are pretty. I use the blue palette #3 the most followed by the #9, #7, #12 and #10, #11.

racha673 @tgctgarrett The mattes are sometimes a bit harder to blend than the Viseart which is a consistent critique across Youtubers. I also find these metallic shades apply best with a bit of fix plus type spray or I use rose water with glycerin if you are using a flat brush. Otherwise I think the fingers work best with the buttery formula.

racha673 @tgctgarrett I do love the look of that pink shade in that ND palette you mentioned. I just felt like I had similar shades in my Viseart and general collection that were that gorgeous rose gold but I was tempted myself lol.

racha673 @tgctgarrett The blues and greens are especially stunning. I use them a lot to create what I call mermaid eyes lol. My coworkers have seen a lot of extra sparkly looks since I got these palettes which I am sure is a bit too much for my office but I try to limit one bright color on my eyes each day to accent more subtle browns or taupes :)

tgctgarrett @racha673 we have to wear plain navy blue scrubs @ work. So i make my fashion statement with my makeup. Nothing TOO wild (dont want to freak out the patients 😄) but i do smoky looks and jewel tones and lots of bronze and wine colors. And metallicy lips....i'm without a doubt "the makeup girl" @ work lol

tgctgarrett @racha673 i was really bummed to find so few blues in my Jaclyn Hill palette. The one i was sure to be a striking cobalt blue (which makes my green eyes REALLY shine) was very purple toned. And the other blues are turquoise...of which i like in my Jeffree Star palettes better. And almost no greens in any of my palettes surprisingly. A pretty but subdued one in Sweet Peach palette. A pretty pale one in my Laura Lee. One or two in JH. And that's about it.

tgctgarrett @racha673 One last thing & i promise i'll stop chatting & obsessing lol: i've read numerpus places that these are SUPER fragile & don't travel well. Have u found that to be true? I really like taking a couple eyeshadows or a palette in my "hag bag" to freshen up during my 12+ hour shifts. It would break my heart to have it break up being in a makeup bag! Have you tried carrying them & if so, what did you find?

racha673 @tgctgarrett Happy to keep discussing on here :) Again, in good company here lol. Yes, these are more fragile so I did end up with a few broken in transit when I received them which I returned. Personally I am one of those people who is always running late so end up throwing palettes in my bag to do my makeup at work or in an uber so I have thrown these in my bag and so far nothing has broken.

racha673 @tgctgarrett I make sure to throw the palette in a little travel bag that has a bit of cushion and to keep it at the top of my bag (because I am applying it soon after anyway). There is some glitter fallout within the palette due to travel and more than my other palettes but not terrible either.

tgctgarrett @racha673 well i certainly appreciate the group invite and the advice😘 I plan to be extra careful with them just based on what i read anyway. Plus they're going to be the most expensive shadows i own (retail-wise, i honestly would be VERY hard-pressed to buy 3-5 palettes of these). So they're going to be babied. I kinda baby my ABH MR palette because of the softness of the shadows. And my Violet Voss Laura Lee because it's hard to replace.
