This plate is the twelfth and final issue in the Elvis Presley: In Performance Collection, issued under the hallmark of Delphi, and officially endorsed by the Elvis Presley Estate. It is a limited edition plate, strictly limited to a maximum firing schedule of 150 days. It is 1977 & Elvis is performing at his very last concert of a whirlwind Midwestern tour that had taken him to ten different cities in ten days. Elvis was dressed in his splendid white jumpsuit with the Aztec sun design. The artist, Bruce Emmett, captures the magnetism between Elvis & his fans that electrified his, sadly, last & final concert that night in Indianapolis.๐ช Today, the Aztec jumpsuit that Elvis wore in his final concert in Indianapolis, is on display at Graceland. As the final plate in this collection, it seems appropriate that the "The Tour Finale: Indianapolis"depicts Elvis's final stage performance, making it a fitting conclusion to a remarkable series, & a historic tribute to Elvis Presley, as well. This plate is vintage as I purchased it from the Bradford Exchange in 1992. Brand new in it's original box, it will come with a certificate of authenticity & an informative pamphlet with information about the event & the artist who created it. It is plate #4002C & is 8.5" & made of porcelain ceramic ringed in shiny, gold platinum. A super great gift idea for Elvis fans & collector's!๐ Smoking & pet hair free home.
