NWT Vintage 1991 Limited Edition Elvis Presley "TAMPA 1955" Collector's Plate

The year was 1955 & Elvis is strutting his stuff in Tampa, Florida, wearing his favorite color, at the time, PINK! 😉This plate is brand new & still in it's original box with all the literature included. It is from the Elvis Presley: In Performance Collection by artist Bruce Emmett. I purchased it in 1991 as the #8 issue in a 12-plate series through the Bradford Exchange. Each plate edition is strictly limited to a maximum firing schedule of 150 days & is issued under the hallmark of Delphi & officially endorsed by the Elvis Presley Estate. This plate captures the early 1955 Elvis, wearing his trademark pink jacket, in his Tampa, Florida performance when he was only 20 years old & billed as "The Hillbilly Cat",developing a style that would later be called "rockabilly"(a blend of country music with a unique rhythm-and-blues beat), a forerunner of rock'n'roll. It is plate #8308B "Gonna Shake It Up", #8 plate edition to the Elvis In Performance Collection series. Each plate is ringed in shiny gold platinum & made of porcelain. You will receive a pamphlet with all the info about this performance, as well as,a certificate of authenticity of this limited edition plate.
