The date was March 25, 1961 when Elvis performed in a charity benefit concert to raise funds to build a memorial for the crewmen who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona during the bombing of Pearl Harbor on that sad day of December 7, 1941. Elvis wore his famous rhinestone-trimmed gold lame' jacket with black slacks in that performance at Bloch Arena in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Just one of the many generous acts for charity that he was so well known for! All the information about this famous concert is included in the pamphlet which is included with the certificate of authenticity with this limited-edition collector's plate. It is the 6th issue plate in the Elvis Presley: In Performance collection which is strictly limited to a maximum firing schedule of 150 days. Plate #2118C. Each plate is ringed in shiny gold platinum & made of porcelain. May be displayed on a wall shelf or in a plate stand in your curio cabinet. GREAT idea for all Elvis fans & collector's! ๐ Smoke & pet hair free home. I purchased this plate in 1991 so it is vintage & it is brand NEW in it's original box.
