This is BEAUTIFUL...I am so glad I scrolled down on your closet to see this, this post is so nicely done & I'm sure he would be very proud of you for posting it,I too had a brother I lost when I was much younger..as years go by it honestly has not gotten any easier BUT my understanding of why things happen on Gods time and not ours has grown a bit and made me more at peace with it..

@yorkietimestwo Thank you for commenting and saying that, it means SO much to me at this time. I feel like I’ve been stung by a thousand scorpions. The initial shock has worn off, and I’m still going through those waves of grief but your words comfort me, and I treasure them! Thank you again.♥️✝️

@yorkietimestwo And I am so sorry for your loss as well and thank you for reminding me that time will help soothe the pain.

@annagarde aww, I really do feel for you,I am so sorry your hurting. It does get easier over time and then sometimes it's harder too..I was so young when my brother passed,he was only 13, I 16...I find myself grieving more that am older on the things we could have experienced in life together as he was my only sibling and he was too young to have even really started "life"..
yorkietimestwo
@annagarde with all of that said..and this is important for you to remember when you are really feeling down..he is always with you now,no matter what your "beliefs" are I really feel that is true..and as time goes on you will start to see little things here and there that will really reinforce that for you😉 you may no longer have a brother here on earth but you have an extra special guardian Angel now!!! 😇

@yorkietimestwo Thank you, I believe you and I’m counting on it! Family is kind of getting in the way (controlling aunt) but his memorial is put off til Oct. 6. If I can just make it through til after, I’ll be ok. I’ve got a special girlfriend who I’ve known since 7th grade that has been a rock, she was here last night and will sit me at the service. She loved both of us. So I’m so blessed to have her.

@yorkietimestwo I know what you are feeling about your brother. Phil and I were not as close during adult years, so in a way, I understand. But one perfect day we will both have unlimited time to make up for the loss.✝️

I lost my brother 20 yrs ago but it seems like yesterday so I understand your pain. The passage of time may dull the ache but nothing takes the pain away completely. My sincerest heartfelt sympathy. May God comfort you during this difficult time. You were there for each other when needed the most. Please know that nothing can break the bond of Bro & Sis. Not distance or the passing of time. Sending you hugs, kisses and sunshine. 🙏

May I also say how beautiful both you and Phil are??!!
annagarde
@richmondhillmom Oh, thank you so much for your kind words, and for sharing your story I was just having a “moment” you know of extreme sadness, it comes in waves as you well know, and I was staring at my phone thinking I needed to check in and there you are! Encouraging me...

@richmondhillmom Thank you, that picture was not recent but he was always beautiful. He was prettier than me in school, he made the homecoming court, not me, LOL! But I was never jealous, and so proud to be his twin sister. You made my night!! ♥️♥️♥️

@annagarde My pleasure sweetie. Glad I could make you smile even if for a moment. Hang in there, sending you LOADS OF POSH LOVE!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

So touched by your grief- for 20 years I was privileged to do hospice nursing. 1 of the best pieces of advice is associate with a person or group who’ve walked where you are. Another is to keep pictures handy and pull out a few every little bit, this sparks the sweetest memories. God bless & ease your heart. Elizabeth

@daffodildog23 First, I love nurses. Hospice ones x1000. I’m a 2x cancer survivor from age 25. I met my oncologist on my 26th birthday.
Your words mean SO much to me, I’ve had a hard time lately. Everything I see reminds me of him. The grocery store—he cooked. Tool sales — he was a genius mechanic.
I’m starting a new project here in coming weeks in his memory. You’ll start seeing tiles that will explain what I’m doing.
Thank you again - your note means the world to me.♥️
