Handmade in Siwa Oasis in Egypts Western (Sahara) Desert. This is a traditional fancy loose dress worn by local Berber women for weddings, parties, and celebrations. The handmade black embroidered collar is often antique as they are removed from old dresses and sewn on new ones. This dress is made with beautiful sheer sequined material combined with traditional Siwan Orange/white and black material. This is a unique, one of a kind piece. Please note: This dress is entirely handmade (and embroidered and/or beaded if applicable) by local Siwan ladies. These dresses are never made for tourists. They have been previously worn by a Siwan lady so they will show wear. Beads may be missing or loose. There may be holes or discolorations. There may be stains. There may be hanging or loose threads. This wear is normal and provides verification of the pieces authenticity.
