Vintage Black Lace Dress

Delicate and sexy party dress! Vintage black lace dress is unlabeled, possibly hand-made. 44" from yoke to hem; high waist is approximately 36"-37". The shoulders are lace over sheer beige gauze. The gathered lace skirt-part is over black net, all over a (satin?) black shift. This garment was purchased for the lace at an auction. It is marked with a tag indicating 1950s and price of $220.
