Faberge Chevalier's Guard Egg Pendant 88 Silver

This "Chevalier's Guard" egg pendant created by Johan Victor Aarne for Faberge is one of the better examples I've been across, it's not flawless and it shouldn't be, it's over 100 years old.(please see pictures). Its 88 silver (916 silver) with the helmet gilded in gold. It is signed on the bail by the maker and marked by the assayer as 88 imperial. The eagle and egg are both in excellent condition with some minor wear to the plate on the face of the helmet. This pendant is in really good condition and will make a great addition to anyone's collection.
